Harnessing the potential of social media
This autumn, we organized four workshops for partners of the Convention!!! project, all focusing on how best to harness the huge potential of social media in today’s world.
Aimed at managers of hotels, tourist attractions and other important regional institutions, the workshops expanded participants’ knowledge of how they can use social media to support MICE tourism. The biggest topics of discussion were Facebook – which remains the world’s most popular social network – and Instagram, which has exploded in popularity during the past few months. Participants had the opportunity to show off their creative talents, devising posts with attractive graphics and fresh, inventive texts.
